A Little History
Who is Jerry Noones?
Jerry got his start on the West Coast in the trim department of a local limo company. His innovative ideas and efficient production led to Jerry opening his first shop in Simi Valley, CA in 1987. After nearly 30 years, of building his reputation as the lead restorer of interiors, Jerry has compiled a very impressive repertoire, including the 1940 Ford on display.
The Customizations
On the exterior, there were a handful of changes made to the overall body shape of this car. First, they chopped the hood and shortened the grille, each by a few inches. Next, they leaned the front windshield back about an inch to give it a sleek look from the side. Last, they brought the rear windshield forward by about 2-3 inches and removed the door handles.
The interior of the car is entirely finished in quilted, tan leather with silver and black piping to match the exterior paint job. The finished interior is equally as nice as the 2013 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Liter Grand Sport Vitesse from our previous Supercar exhibit. It features a Haneline gauge cluster and a Billet Specialties steering wheel.
