A Little History

The Ford GT is a modern interpretation of Ford’s 1960s Lemans-winning GT40 Mark I. The GT is Ford’s only attempt at producing a supercar, drawing many similarities in design and structure from the 1960s version.

The Design: Impressively enough, Ford was able to copy the look and feel of the Mark I almost identically, but made it perform to modern supercar standards, and was entirely street legal, despite the fact that the original was designed purely for racing.

The interior looks almost exactly the same as the interior of the GT40.

Did you know?

Unlike any other supercar on display, it features a supercharged V8 engine. This means that more air is being compressed into the combustion chamber which, when combined with more fuel, causes a larger explosion, thus resulting in about 50% more power than a vehicle without a supercharger.  

The GT was only ever produced with a black interior.
