One of the coolest variants of the Volkswagen Type 2 is the double-cab pickup. Known also as the Doka (Doppelkabine in German) or crew cab, this light truck was very scarce in North America due to taxation for this kind of European imports and is very sought after nowadays. Powered by different flat-four engines, driving the rear wheels between options packages, the T1 double cab was built until 1967 when Volkswagen introduced the T2 Generation Double Cab Pick Up.

This customized pickup option is most distinctive for its cyclops roof light and salmon paint. It underwent a rotisserie restoration and customizing at Penn Dutch Restoration in Shrewsberry, Pennsylvania
