1940 Chevy Custom Topless Roadster
Attractive Harley-Davidson turquoise paint
Built by renowned customizer Gary “Chopit” Fioto
500 HP V8 with drag tires to put power to the pavement
This unique 1930 Chevrolet Custom Roadster is finished in striking Harley Turqoise, and might just be the ultimate hot rod to cruise for an ice cream in. As the paint name suggests, Harley Turquoise is a color Harley Davidson used on their bikes in the early 1990s, which has become an iconic color today on both Harleys and custom cars.
The car on view is a one-off custom build by the late renowned customizer Gary “Chopit” Fioto, which he named The Pipeline. Other Chopit creations bore similarly descriptive monikers, such as Beatnik Bubbletop, Inca Gold, Floorless, Dream Lover, Potion, and Adult Toy. The car is all-steel and hand-fabricated throughout. The shape of the car is modernized with hidden headlights behind the front grille, side exit exhausts that fit right through the body along with a modern digital dashboard. Custom features include a built 468cid engine with duel Edelbrock carburetors, a built B&M Turbo 400 transmission, 9″ posi-traction rear end, a new GM front clip, and power disc brakes.
This car boasts an all-steel body on a custom rectangular tube race frame, a vibrant Harley Turquoise paint job, a custom molded leather interior, a custom sound system, a trunk finished in matching leather, push button power lift, 1967 Cadillac taillights, Budnik wheels, and digital dash.
