The 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet is a one-owner, matching numbers car complete with its service history and documentation from its inception. The 1987 911 model year is regarded by enthusiasts as one of the best to come out of Zuffenhausen. The 3.2L Hans Mezger-designed engine combined with a G50 5-speed transmission have proven to be icons of performance, reliability and longevity.

Even the Cabriolet’s top is a shining example of German engineering. 50% of the structural framework is composed of pressed-steel that ensures dimensional stability at high speeds as well as crash-safety perfection. The roof is designed not to “balloon out,” even at speeds exceeding 125 mph, and the top’s appearance is always taut and tight. The 911 Carrera Cabriolet presents itself elegantly in Venetian Blue Metallic with black leather interior and a black top. The car is optioned with air-conditioning, Fuch’s anodized alloy wheels, cruise control, factory alarm, and fog lights.

The only non-stock item on the car is the audio unit, but the car does come with the original radio, safely wrapped in a box. This car comes complete with its original tool roll, air compressor for the space-saver spare, owner’s manual, warranty, service book with stamps, and the factory-issued Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.
